In the thick of COVID-19, everything we do is transforming and evolving. Businesses are in the process of reconfiguring the way they operate and serve the general public. Everyone is using their homes in new ways and occupying them more than in the past. As we seek to find out how to move forward with the health and safety of everyone in mind, the efforts in finding the answers is leaving everyone exhausted. None of the answers meet everyone’s needs. As a result, people are seeking outlets and opportunities to retreat. Schools are looking at more outside instruction, restaurants are maximizing patio dining and we are seeking places of retreat outside our homes to get fresh air and a change of scenery. In this month’s design discussions, we are going to explore unique ways to transform the outdoor space you have to maximize its oasis factor!
