Overview
Watterson-Lake Development was designed to be a village for those of diverse backgrounds seeking to live and learn in a ever growing community. This 136 unit development with community spaces on the first floor, also includes 6 rowhouses on the property. The residential development consists of 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom and 4 bedroom units. All suites sizes were also available in accessible unit options.
Design Approach
Desired Designs partnered with the lead architecture firm Stantec, to lead the full interior design and FF&E scope for the new development. Our design approach focuses on representing a vibrant and diverse community continuing to grown and evolve together.

Space Planning
Thoughtfully planned layouts balance privacy and connection, guiding flow between private living and community spaces with vibrancy and intention.

Selections
Materials and selections bring life and energy to the common/amenity spaces and allow for differentiation on residential floors.

Details refine the story, aligning materials, forms, and finishes to express character through design.
